description
Ultra Rare Vintage Marcolin 953 Gold Rimless Geometric Eyeglasses – Made in Italy (Late 1980s/Early 1990s)
Excellent vintage condition. Frame is structurally sound, hinges are smooth, and the ornate gold-toned metal detailing remains bright. Lenses show light wear consistent with age (please review photos). Highly recommend putting your own custom prescription or sunglass lenses in these!
Incredibly rare, authentic piece of Italian optical history: the Marcolin 953 rimless butterfly frame. Produced during the golden era of Italian artisanal eyewear manufacturing, this statement piece features striking, oversized geometric lenses with thick, faceted bevel-cut edges that catch the light beautifully. The structural drill-mount design is held together by an intricately detailed, ornate gold-toned bridge and matching textured wave temple hinges. It\'s a holy grail silhouette for vintage collectors and high-fashion enthusiasts alike.
