This striking black, fuchsia, and gray hat is warm, durable, and thoughtfully crafted. Worn only three times and in excellent, like-new condition. The hat measures approximately 24” around (see photos for additional measurements). It is just slightly too small for me, otherwise I would keep it! About the maker: Carrie Cahill Mulligan is a respected fiber artist and former park ranger who began creating her heirloom felt hats during long winters in Alaska. Each hat is hand-knit and then felted through heat and agitation to create a thick, durable wool fabric. The hats are then shaped by hand and finished with a lining for comfort and longevity. Each piece takes more than nine hours to complete and is truly wearable art.
