Amazon.com: Vintage Hanging Sleigh Bell for Door Knob,5 Loud 。Antique Sleigh Bells, Vintage Jingle Bells, Brass Horse Bells, Leather Bell Strap, Farmhouse Decor, 12 Sleigh Bells, Vintage Holiday Decor Antique This is a set of early 1900s antique sleigh bells on the original leather strap, featuring six heavy cast brass/bronze petal-cut jingle bells mounted on beautifully aged leather. These authentic country farm and winter carriage bells once jingled along snowy roads, horse harnesses, or sleigh reins—full of history, warmth, and that unmistakable nostalgic jingle sound. A wonderful authentic farmhouse holiday piece you can display year-round. Sleigh bells were essential in the late 1800s and early 1900s, used on horse-drawn sleighs and wagons as both decoration and safety devices. In winter snow, wheels were replaced by runners, and bells warned pedestrians and travelers that a team was approaching. This antique sleigh bell strap features 12 matching heavy metal bells with a deep aged patina. The bells are securely mounted and still produce a wonderful jingle. The leather strap shows significant authentic age, cracking, dryness, and darkened wear expected from a piece well over 100 years old, but it remains intact overall with reinforced riveting visible on the underside. No repair attempts or polish—this piece has been kept in original untouched farm condition. The strap length is approximately 28\". The bells are approximately 1\" diameter.
